As part of Cyclingworld Europe 2024, Moustache invited us to take part of the Media Ride, for which the French company brought its entire line-up of urban e-bikes with them. Even though the weather wasn’t quite well, it was a great opportunity to test ride the various bikes on a tour along the Rhine. And thanks to the bikes’ all-weather equipment with mudguards and powerful Bosch drive system, even wet conditions and sometimes strong headwinds were no problem 🙂
Among them was the Lundi 27, a true classic from the Moustache range, which has recently been given a great update with the continuously variable Enviolo gearbox and the clean belt drive. This combination of drivetrain and belt drive was also available to test on the new Mardi 27, which performed well off the beaten track thanks to its suspension fork. Only the new Moustache J, which offers maximum riding comfort thanks to the suspension on the front and rear wheels, was able to surpass this — an SUV bike that glides smoothly over even the roughest roads!
As a “camera bike”, the compact Lundi 20 Cargo came into play, once again demonstrating its wide range of applications. We had already tested the cargo bike here, but in family use with two kids.
Moustache also brought a completely new variant of the J to Düsseldorf, which could also be tested. What is it all about? Still top secret, but information will be revealed soon! An overview of all urban e-bike models can be found directly on Moustache’s website.
