The Hamburg-based bicycle manufacturer YOONIT is presenting its first series of mini cargo bikes. The new bike is available in three versions: smart, family and job. Each model is the perfect companion for the city, because all models are compact, light, incredibly agile and ideal for urban areas.
The Mini Cargobike is supposed to combine the advantages of a Cargobike, but feels like a normal bicycle. It fits easily into an elevator or a train compartment. If you want, you can even take it with you into your home. And at just under 1.77 cm in length, the Cargobike is shorter than a Dutch bicycle. It is also a true lightweight. The bike weighs just under 20 kg without the motor and around 26 kg with the motor. So the YOONIT can be carried or transported by car without any problems.

To ensure that the bikes function reliably and require as little service as possible, they are equipped with Magura hydraulic disc brakes, an 8-speed Shimano Alfine hub gear and Gates’ carbon belt drive. The e-bike model is powered by the brand new Shimano EP 8 drive, which is one of the lightest and most powerful motors on the market.
For special flexibility the bikes are equipped with the Unique Adapt System: Three quick-releases allow different carriers to be mounted quickly and without tools. In a few seconds, the YOONIT Cargobike transforms from a family vehicle to a heavy-duty transporter. Individual solutions and ideas can also be perfectly implemented.
The YOONIT models:
- YOONIT smart: The carrier of the YOONIT smart can be turned over in no time at all: The “UP” version makes it possible to carry luggage for a spontaneous camping trip, food, sports equipment or camera equipment. The “DOWN” variant offers endless options for cargo of different sizes. Even large, bulky goods can be transported without any problems because they are easily and quickly fastened with tension straps.
- YOONIT family: Up to two small kids can be transported with the YOONIT family. The five-point belts ensure a comfortable and above all safe ride. Behind the backrest there is a practical storage compartment that can hold a drinking bottle, a bicycle lock, a teddy bear or a jacket.
- YOONIT job: The robust loading platform of the YOONIT job is ideal for mounting various transport boxes or for individual transport solutions. The various and intelligently arranged recesses in the loading area offer almost unlimited transport solutions. Whether for pizza deliveries, the mobile ice cream parlor or hairdressing salon, whether as a chimney sweep or craftsman. The YOONIT is a Universal Everything.
YOONIT Mini Cargobikes can now be pre-ordered at the Early Bird price of 1,995 Euro (instead of the regular 2,820 Euro). As a pedelec, the YOONIT Mini Cargobike costs 4,720 Euro, while those who pre-order now pay only 3,495 Euro.
