With its new Lundi 20 Cargo, Moustache Bikes introduces a further development of its popular 20-inch longtail cargo bike. The 2025 model year not only brings fresh technology, but also many clever details that make the e-cargo bike more versatile, more comfortable and safer than ever before—and all in an amazingly compact design.

Compact, powerful, flexible

The new Lundi 20 Cargo remains true to the basic idea of its predecessor: it is a compact longtail cargo bike that takes up hardly any more space than a classic 28-inch bike, but is much more versatile. Equipped with manoeuvrable 20-inch wheels, it measures just 185 centimetres in overall length and still allows a high permissible total weight of up to 200 kilograms.

The most obvious external change compared to the previous model is the revised frame: Instead of two as before, Moustache now relies on a single frame tube at the front. This not only ensures a clearer, more purist look, but also enables a lower entry—which noticeably increases comfort when getting on and off the bike.

The loading area on the elongated rear remains generously dimensioned and versatile. Whether up to two child seats, Euroboxes or bags—the Lundi 20 Cargo accommodates them safely and stably. However, the new front luggage rack is now also part of the standard equipment; previously it was only available as an accessory.

Taking the tried and tested a step further

As a reminder: We have already extensively tested the predecessor of the Lundi 20 Cargo—with a thoroughly positive impression and only a few points of criticism. Moustache has now addressed and improved precisely these points in the new model:

• Modern drive system: The powerful Bosch Performance CX Cargo Line motor, now integrated into Bosch’s latest Smart System, provides efficient motor power. With a capacity of up to 800 Wh, the battery is not only particularly long-lasting, but also sits discreetly and protected behind the seat tube. It is now controlled via the compact Purion 200 control unit, and the smartphone grip can also be fitted as an option.
• Stable kickstand: The revised centre stand offers maximum stability, even when fully loaded. It is easy to operate using the foot pedal, and a secure locking mechanism prevents unintentional folding.
• More comfort for rider and passengers: The new Suntour Mobie 34 Cargo suspension fork offers 70 mm of suspension travel—ideal for effectively smoothing out bumps and making the ride more comfortable for everyone involved.
• Low entry, high rigidity: The front part of the frame has been redesigned and provides a lower entry for easier mounting and dismounting. Thanks to triple-reinforced tubes, the frame rigidity remains at a high level—despite the low step-through height.
• More security: A new frame lock on the front wheel and the digital features of the Bosch Smart System ensure effective theft protection.

Two variants for different needs

As with its predecessor, the new Lundi 20 Cargo also offers a choice of two drive variants:

• Lundi 20 Cargo 3: With 9-speed derailleur gears from Shimano’s CUES series—the cheaper alternative for those who prefer manual gear changes and a sportier riding style.
• Lundi 20 Cargo 5: With continuously variable Enviolo hub gears and a belt drive from Gates—a low-maintenance, quiet and particularly clean solution, ideal for daily use in the city.

Tried and tested loading area, new accessories

The cargo area of the new model remains compatible with the accessories of its predecessor—including MIK-HD-compatible attachment points for child seats and crates as well as space for Euroboxes with a base area of 60×40 cm. New additions to the accessories programme include an additional seat cushion and a compact transport box, which can now also be mounted on the front luggage rack.

Availability, colours and pricing

The Moustache Lundi 20 Cargo will be available exclusively in the colour Silk Grey from May 2025. Individualisation is made possible by the new sticker kits, which can be placed on the top tube and seat tube and also protect them from scratches.

• The Lundi 20 Cargo 5 with 545 Wh battery and continuously variable Enviolo gearbox with belt drive starts at 5,599 euros
• The larger battery with 800 Wh costs 300 euros extra
• The child transport kit with protective bar & footrests also costs 300 euros extra

With the new Lundi 20 Cargo, Moustache is improving its tried-and-tested cargo bike and at the same time bringing it up to date technically. The many well thought-out details that made the previous version of the Lundi 20 Cargo an extremely versatile everyday companion have been retained.
