Already in the summer of last year Cannondale presented the new e-bikes of the Mavaro Neo series: low-entry bikes for the city, which could score with high-quality equipment — but are also priced in the upper range. Now follows for the 2021 season the new Adventure Neo series, which is also designed as a low-entry model series, but will be slightly cheaper to have. And yet you will find there partly similar features again, including an innovative radar system!
The new model series consists of four differently equipped models: the Adventure Neo 4 is the most affordable entry-level model, which comes without mudguards, rack and lighting system — but can score with pretty cool looks and a slightly lower weight.
All other models from Adventure Neo 3 to 1 are named with the suffix “EQ”, which then includes mudguards, rack and lighting system as well as a suspension fork and a suspension seatpost. In addition, more powerful motors from the Bosch range are used here with the Bosch Active Line Plus or the Bosch Performance Line Cruise in the top model. The top model also features the aforementioned Garmin radar system, which detects vehicles approaching from behind at a distance of 140 meters and displays them on the handlebars.

Details such as the option of mounting a frame lock or a charging socket that is mounted high up — and thus easily accessible — ensure high suitability for everyday use. Of course, the built-in Bosch PowerTube battery can also be removed and charged anywhere outside the bike.
For comparatively cheap 2,499 euros, the Adventure Neo 4 goes to the start, but the prices of the better equipped models then rise exponentially up to 3,999 euros for the top model Adventure Neo 1. All further information on the new model series is available directly on the website of Cannondale.
