An urban bike with eye-catching qualities: Bombtrack has released the Outlaw in a particularly attractive version for 2020. Although the bike “only” comes with a single-speed drive (unfortunately, the Outlaw 2 with hub gear, which was available in the past, is no longer in production), this 1-speed transmission is sufficient and maintenance-free for many city cyclists. What a perfect match that the (almost) maintenance-free belt drive from Gates is also used.
By contrast, the wide tyres look even fatter thanks to the elegant appearance of the purist drivetrain and the filigree steel frame: the WTB Horizon models with a width of 47 mm in the 27.5″ format are designed to ensure a comfortable ride. Mudguards can also be fitted as an option for bad weather use (brackets are provided on the frame), and even then the Shimano hydraulic M200 disc brakes ensure good braking performance. But honestly: the bike certainly looks cooler without mudguards!
Cool and practical, on the other hand, is Bombtrack’s already fitted front rack, with which, according to the manufacturer, a few bottles of beer or a pizza can also be carried. A good suggestion that perfectly illustrates the fun factor of the bike 😉 All further information about the Outlaw 2020 can be found on Bombtrack’s website.
