Although the new VanMoof S4 is already in the starting blocks, the VanMoof S3 is still available. And this now get — for the first time — a limited edition: S3 aluminum is the name of the model, which will be available in “a very limited number”.
The S3 Aluminum has a frame made of brushed aluminum and the iconic welds of VanMoof. However, this raw-cut surface is only seen in the rear part of the frame — at the front of the bike is matte black. Likewise, all add-on parts such as mudguards and cockpit are kept in black, technically correspond the bike to the regular VanMoof S3 (which, by the way, we had here in the test). The S3 Aluminum will be launched on August 16 in Germany, France, the Netherlands and the USA at a price of 2698 euros. VanMoof has set up a web page where interested parties can register to receive one of the limited edition e-bikes.
