Last week Ampler opened a new pop-up store and service store in Hamburg. To celebrate the new location, the manufacturer of lightweight urban e-bikes is launching two new limited edition colors of the popular Juna model — the Mint and Pink collection!
The Ampler pop-up showroom will be open for one month, until October 14, 2023, and is located in the heart of Hamburg’s digital Hammerbrooklyn neighborhood, on the first floor of the popular Factory Start-up hub, Stadtdeich 2-4. There, Ampler will offer its entire fleet of e-bikes for test rides, and on select days, mechanics will be on hand to perform minor inspections or bring bikes to Ampler’s certified workshops.
The Mint and Pink Collection
The basis for the limited Mint and Pink collection is Ampler’s Juna singlespeed e-bike, which offers a comfort frame in trapezoid shape and is available in two frame sizes. The battery is — typical for Ampler — firmly installed in the down tube and offers a capacity of 336 Wh. The bike is powered by a compact hub motor in the rear wheel in conjunction with a belt drive instead of a bicycle chain. Thanks to the torque sensor, the bikes from Ampler offers a particularly natural driving feel (as we have already seen in the test of the Ampler Stout).
More info on the Juna model series (as well as its counterpart Axel with a high top tube) can be found in this article. The smart features with GPS tracking and smartphone connectivity are also discussed there.
In Ampler’s online store, the new mint and pink color shades are now offered as a supplement to the already known color variants Moon Grey and Sunrise Yellow. Compared to the other variants, however, the new models have black fenders. Remarkable, since Ampler had painted these so far always in the frame color. The price for all color variants, however, is constant: 2,790 euros will also be due for Pink & Mint models, delivery is scheduled for early November 2023.
