Cycling enthusiasts, industry insiders and leisure cyclists of all kinds can now vote for their favorites for the Cyclingworld Award 2024. Until February 29, the public will decide on the best of the best in eight categories, from which a top-class jury of experts will select the final award winners by the start of the trade fair on March 15.

Cycling World Award 2024 Voting
Coveted award: the Cyclingworld Europe Award

Whether it’s a stylish urban bike, a practical cargo bike for the family, an innovative bike light or a sporty gravel or race bike – which manufacturer will win the race in its category at this year’s Cyclingworld Award? Bicycle enthusiasts, friends and family can now vote for their favorites online. A good 130 entries are hoping to win the coveted award, which will be presented for the first time this year in eight categories, including Gravel, Race, MTB/ATB, Urban, Cargo, Kids and the two non-bike categories Components and Accessories.

Incidentally, submissions with an “E” and without an “E” were equally considered in all six bike categories. “A distinction between ‘E’ and not ‘E’ would unnecessarily complicate the voting process. However, it is much more important that the drive type should not be a decisive differentiating factor in evaluation criteria such as design, sustainability in production or materials as well as the degree of innovation,” explains Stefan Maly, initiator of Cyclingworld.

Of course, the urban bike category is also represented!

Voting will continue until February 29th, after which half of the best entries in each category will be submitted to the critical eye of the expert jury. The five-member expert jury, consisting of bike industry specialists, designers and sustainability experts, will meet in Düsseldorf on the day before Cyclingworld and select the ultimate winners of the 2024 awards from the finalists.

The awards ceremony will then take place on March 15 at 5:30 pm at the opening of the 6th Cyclingworld Europe at Areal Böhler; the trade fair itself will run until Sunday, March 17, 2024.
