With the regular Hotwalk, Specialized has a balance bike in their product range, which is conventionally equipped with an aluminum frame and weighs about 4 kg. But those who know Specialized also know that they like to push the limits — as some ultra-light models prove. And this is exactly where the new Hotwalk Carbon comes in, which has a carbon frame in keeping with its name. But that’s not all: The fork, handlebars and even the rims are also made of the lightweight material and bring the total weight to a remarkably low 2.1 kg.
But attention was also paid to other details: For example, the handlebar grips are 38% narrower in diameter, giving small hands optimum grip. The Body Geometry saddle is particularly low-friction and parents will appreciate the integrated carrying strap. Thus the Hotwak carbon might be the ultimative first Bike for new generation — which is reflected also in the price: Full 999 euro are called for the wheel, which is to be immediately available suitably for lining up Christmas.
All further information about the new Hotwalk Carbon can be found on the Specialized website.
