The new tires of the Pirelli Angel Urban series are aimed at e-mobility and bring to cycling Pirelli’s vast experience in the world of tires for motorized two-wheelers, especially motorcycles and scooters.

One tire in three variants:

Angel GT Urban is designed for the urban cyclist looking for agility, grip and speed. The profile, with a few well-distributed grooves, is derived from the patented Pirelli design of the famous tire Angel GT. It offers a very comfortable, agile and smooth ride, just like its motorized cousins. 

Angel DT Urban is aimed at the pure urban cyclist who expects reliability and responsiveness from a bicycle tire, in any situation in the city. With its siped tread pattern with all-season properties, in this case derived from Angel Scooter, this tire is able to cope with any surface or obstacle in the city. 

Angel XT Urban, finally, was created to explore the boundaries of the city, on- but also off-road. It is a true multipurpose tire has a tread pattern adopted from the Pirelli MT60 RS motorcycle tire: This design provides maneuverability, comfort and grip on the road and excellent traction in light dirt or gravel.

The heart of the new tires Angel Urban is the tread design. It consists of two different layers: a surface compound (PROcompound Urban) and a reinforcement layer called HyperBELT, with an average thickness of 5 mm, provides excellent puncture resistance. The protection, thanks to its considerable thickness, is not only a physical barrier, but is also designed to encapsulate sharp objects.
