For 10 years now, Mika Amaro in Cologne has been building classic urban bikes from the equally classic frame material steel. Filigree and elegant bikes that are simply timeless. To celebrate this occasion, they are now launching the Anniverary Edition. Only 20 units will be available, each numbered on the frame.

The equipment is similar to the familiar models and includes a hand-welded frame made of Columbus tubes and the almost maintenance-free Gates Carbon Drive belt drive in combination with an 11-speed hub gear from Shimano’s Alfine series. Highly polished rims add to the classic look, as do the stylish Brooks handlebar grips and the matching saddle. The Lightskin LED lighting system, which is fully integrated into the saddle and handlebars, is worth highlighting. And with a total weight of only 10.3 kg, the bike is also pleasantly light.
A special feature of the limited birthday model is the matte finish in Eggplant, in contrast to which all the lettering is in Yellow-Gold. At a price of 2,499 euros, the exclusive bike can be purchased directly from Thursday, January 21, via Mika Amaros website — and because of the small number of units, you probably shouldn’t hesitate too long if you’re interested.
