The colorful locks of Abus were already on display at the last Eurobike show, but now they are actually for sale in stores. The Ivera Chain 7210 Color is a variant of the already known Ivera series of chain locks, which — matching the name — is available in different color variants.
A new IvyTex synthetic fibre coating not only provides the color accents, but should also be highly flexible, functional and durable to protect against damage to the paintwork. The coating thus offers a high degree of protection against wear and tear and does not absorb liquids, e.g. water or oil — so the locks are additionally protected against corrosion.
In total, the new Ivera Chain 7210 Color models are available in four different color variants:
Each of these colour variants is available in two different lengths: The short version with a length of 85 cm and a weight of 1.280g and the long version with a length of 110 cm and a weight of 1.680g. All locks comply with Abus security level 6, which is intended to provide good protection at low to medium risk of theft. Depending on the model, prices range between 55 and 65 euros.
