Coboc’s comfortable SEVEN line has been expanded with the step-through frame models Kallio and Kallio Comfort with suspension. In the usual minimalist design, neither one nor the other model indicates that a electric motor is providing the necessary power: Motor, battery, cables — all neatly concealed. And at just 17.5 kilograms, it is extremely easy to handle. This is also due to the well-balanced interaction of muscle power with the specially developed drive technology Coboc Electric Drive. With power peaks of up to 500 watts, the rear-wheel hub motor accelerates in no time at all to a sporty pace that can easily be maintained over long distances. This is precisely where the Comfort version comes into its own, because thanks to the suspension fork, soft gel saddle and spring seat post, not only are the intervertebral discs protected, but also the seat’s flesh — only the wind in the air brings tears of joy to the eyes.

Moreover, the entire driving dynamics can be configured according to individual requirements directly from the smartphone when connected via Bluetooth. When it comes to comfort, both models also benefit from the upright seating position and the step-through frame, which allows for quick hop-on and hop-off on the daily routes through the city park or when shopping. Speaking of shopping: a bag holder is of course essential. Can’t you see the Kallio? That’s right. The holders for two side bags and mudguards can only be seen at second glance, because both are discreetly and beautifully shaped to fit the contour of the rear wheel. If, on the other hand, you prefer a classic carrier, the Racktop — an attachment with a spring flap that accommodates the usual bike baskets — is a good choice. Wide tyres, hydraulic brakes, front lights from Supernova and an LED rear light integrated into the mudguard round off the Kallio’s amenities.

A myth, by the way, that deep-sea divers are exclusively dedicated to the ladies. The new SEVEN line is available in three sizes, so that men can also roll comfortably on the Kallio, regardless of age and status.

Brand-new are the two models of the “LTD Edition”, each in limited special colours: the regular Kallio is available in Grada Blue/Free Blue, a combination of two shades of blue. The Kallio Comfort, on the other hand, is available in a green/turquoise special colour. In terms of price, both LTD models are priced at 3,999 euros and 4,399 euros euros corresponding to the regular Kallio and Kallio Comfort models. Further information on the new bikes can be found directly on the Coboc website.
