Geometry, colour, function: Bauhaus in Texlock design
The ‘Bauhaus Anniversary Edition’ is the result of a special brand collaboration and transfers the Bauhaus design principles to the world of modern bicycle mobility. The iconic primary colours blue, red and yellow are woven into the textile cable in the typical geometric braided structure. The dominant base colour black provides a striking backdrop for the colourful accents, and a specially designed black label at the end of the cable marks both anniversaries: 10 years of Texlock and 100 years of Bauhaus Dessau.
In keeping with the Bauhaus philosophy, form and function merge seamlessly: the colour scheme is based on Johannes Itten’s theory of colour, which had a decisive influence on the functional aesthetics of the Bauhaus movement. Texlock thus translates key Bauhaus design elements into modern product design.
Limited anniversary edition in three Texlock models
The limited Bauhaus edition is available in the Texlock Eyelet, Texlock Orbit and Texlock Mate models.
