Fast, safe and yet comfortable in the city — this is what Stevens wants to provide with the completely newly developed E-Simeto. The electric urban bike offers a high degree of flexibility and still aims to provide a sporty, confident appearance.
A compact frame geometry with an ergonomic cockpit enables an upright riding position and a relaxed hand position. The tidy cockpit is also appealing thanks to the cable integration, with all cables disappearing directly under the handlebars in the stem.
A standard front carrier allows an optional transport basket to be fitted. Larger loads can be quickly and easily secured with tensioning straps. A child seat can also be fitted to the bike, making the e-bike a practical companion for the whole family.
The E-Simeto is powered by the new and relatively compact Bosch Performance Line SX mid-drive motor. The Bosch CompactTube battery with 400 Wh capacity installed in the down tube is removable and can be conveniently charged at your desired location. The low-maintenance belt drive from Gates with continuously variable Enviolo Urban hub gears is used for the gears — making the E-Simeto one of the first bikes to combine Bosch’s SX motor with the continuously variable transmission.
Another special feature is the lighting system, which has two rear lights: the Supernova TL 3 Z in the mudguard and the LightSKIN seatpost with integrated LEDs. At the front, on the other hand, Supernova’s Mini 3 with 100 lux ensures good visibility.
Both versions of the E-Simeto weigh in at 23.6 kg for the HT model with a high top tube and 23.4 kg for the LT model with a comfort frame and lowered top tube. In both cases, despite the lack of suspension, the 27.5” wheels should provide a lot of riding comfort thanks to their 55 millimeter wide tires.
At a price of 3,999 euros, the Stevens E-Simeto is available in Sand Gray (HT model) and Sage Green and Brodeaux Red (LT model) in sizes from S to XL.
