Using the bicycle as a means of transport, a piece of sports equipment and a leisure tool may not be new. But for it to develop its true potential and provide riders with the best possible support on their daily journeys, it needs modern and versatile protection and clothing — and that is precisely the focus of POC’s current Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Versatile clothing
The Motion Rain Jacket and Motion Rain Pants are versatile and durable, made of three-layer waterproof nylon material with ripstop and PFA-free DWR impregnation to ensure durability, comfort and freedom of movement in any riding style.
Less designed for rain is the Motion Wind Jacket, which should provide lightweight wind protection in various riding situations. The splash-proof, highly breathable and lightweight jacket is to ensure an ideal body temperature at all times. Reflective details provide additional protection and visibility.
Reflective elements are also present on the Transcend Shorts made of soft, stretchy polyamide fabric. These have two open pockets and a single zippered pocket in which a smartphone can be safely stowed.
The outfit can be completed with the Poise Crew or Tee — a durable longsleeve or T-shirt made of recycled cotton and recycled polyester with a loose, casual style. Both pieces feature a closable pocket on the lower left side for easy storage of credit cards, for example.
Protective cycling helmets
Inspired by skate helmets, the POC Crane Mips helmet shows itself to be suitable for everything from city biking and commuting to family outings and dirt jumps. A thicker outer shell is designed to prevent dents or scratches, while the dual-density lining inside the helmet is designed to better handle impact forces.
