With the new bikes in the Numove series, Cube aims to combine low weight, perfect proportions and lots of riding fun. A laudable endeavor, because weight is a particularly important factor for children’s bikes — the lighter such a bike is, the easier it is for the kids to ride! However, Cube’s aim when developing the bikes and selecting the appropriate components was also to make them easy to handle and at the same time extremely robust.

The result is a series of bikes in 6 sizes that are geared towards children’s growth:

  • Cube NUMOVE 120: the smallest model with 12″ wheels for kids between 92 and 104 cm tall. The weight is 5.0 kg, the recommended retail price is 379 euros
  • Cube NUMOVE 140: the bike with 14″ wheels for kids between 97 and 107 cm tall. The weight is 5.0 kg, the recommended retail price is 399 euros
  • Cube NUMOVE 160: the bike with 16″ wheels for kids between 102 and 111 cm tall. The weight is 5.6 kg, the recommended retail price is 429 euros

The Street models come with lights, mudguards and pannier rack

An 8-speed derailleur gear system is available for the three large models NUMOVE 200 and NUMOVE 240. These two bikes are also available with the name suffix STREET, which refers to the additional equipment with mudguards, pannier rack and lighting system. Exemplary: the power supply for the lights is provided by a hub dynamo, so you don’t have to worry about dead batteries! The color of these two models is called Navalblue’n’Apple.

However, these two models only have a 7-speed gearbox and are also significantly heavier than the NUMOVE bikes!
