For years, the classic-looking steel frame bikes from Gazelle’s Van Stael series have been a tip for anyone looking for a stylish and yet quite affordable urban bike. All models are fitted with a low-maintenance hub gear from Shimano’s Nexus series, which provides a sufficient range of 7 gears not only for use in the city. For high everyday suitability are the standard mudguards installed, and there is also a kickstand.

When it comes to the painting, you will find the main changes to the 2021: the color palette of the bikes has been revised with Hunter Green and Dust Light for the models with diamond frames and Warm Grey and Jeans for the comfort frame in Mixte form. Together with the brown handlebar grips and the matching Brooks saddle, the filigree bikes thus continue to present themselves as extremely elegant and timeless.

As before, the Van Stael models can be supplemented with matching racks for the front and rear and a battery-powered lighting set in retro look. Both frame shapes are available in three sizes each, the weight is a just over 14 kg. And the models are also unchanged in terms of price: the Van Stael bikes still cost 849 euros!
