Sunshine, steep slopes and a strong community vibe: the first RIDE & SMILE Moustache Community Ride in Stuttgart at the beginning of October brought together e-bike fans from the Stuttgart region – and left them wanting more.
We had reported on the event in advance, where readers had the opportunity to experience Moustache’s extensive portfolio up close. So it’s no surprise that we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity and took to the saddle ourselves at the event!
The starting point for the first Moustache Community Ride was Bike Sport Stuttgart, a long-standing partner and Moustache dealer from the very beginning. From there, the guided e-bike tour covered around 20 kilometres through the hilly landscape around Stuttgart – ideal terrain for experiencing the characteristics of the City, Allroad, E-Gravel and MTB models first-hand.

A selection of the most popular Moustache bikes were available for testing: Mardi, Xroad, J, Dimanche Gravel, Dimanche EQ, as well as the GAME and CLUTCH SUV mountain bikes with Pinion MGU. The test bikes were provided directly by Moustache. For Armin Feldmer, managing director of Bike Sport, the focus was on the shared experience:
That’s community as we live it. It wasn’t about speed, but about the shared experience. That’s what Moustache is all about: Open-mindedness, enthusiasm and the joy of cycling.
At half-time, there was an enjoyable stop at the Gut Rohreck organic winery. In addition to a small wine tasting, participants gained exciting insights into sustainable viticulture on the region’s steep slopes.

In addition to UrbanBike.News, Bosch E-Bike Systems also accompanied the Community Ride, represented by product manager Sean Fingerhut, who answered questions about the latest drive systems.
The event concluded on a French note with an aperitif at Manufaktur Renard,, where cheese, baguettes and wine provided the backdrop for discussions about technology, new models and future tour plans.

The success of the premiere shows how great the interest in shared e-bike experiences is. ‘The concept of our community rides will be expanded in 2026. It serves as a blueprint for other regions and can, in principle, be adapted to all areas of application,’ summarises Andrea Escher, Brand Communication Manager at the French e-bike pioneer.
Further community rides in other cities are already being planned to help the Moustache community grow throughout Germany. Interested retailers can contact Moustache directly.
