With the new Entice 7+ series, Kalkhoff is taking its SUV e-bikes to a whole new level. These Level 7 models not only represent the top of the current product range above the Level 3 and Level 5 e-bikes, but also introduce a real first: for the first time, the German manufacturer is opting for full suspension, combining maximum comfort with robust everyday practicality.
New level of comfort and versatility
The full suspension with 130 millimetres of travel at the front and 120 millimetres at the rear ensures maximum riding comfort – whether on asphalt, cobblestones or gravel paths. It is noteworthy that Kalkhoff offers both a sporty diamond frame and a comfortable low step-through frame, which is still relatively rare in the field of full-suspension e-bikes.
Despite its suspension rear triangle, the Entice 7+ is designed for everyday use: a two-piece chain guard, specially developed for the moving rear triangle, ensures that your trousers stay clean. The height-adjustable stem elegantly routes all cables inside the frame, giving the cockpit a tidy look. The bikes are also suitable for everyday use when it comes to handling the battery: the charging port is located high up and is therefore easy to reach, and the battery itself can be easily removed from the side – or from the top in the case of the low step-through model.

Built tough to meet high standards
As you would expect from Kalkhoff, the new Entice 7+ models are extremely robust and resilient. The permissible total weight is 170 kilograms, with riders weighing up to 120 kilograms. With a weight of 33 to 35 kilograms, these bikes are not exactly lightweight – but that’s hardly surprising given their extensive range of features.
Powerful Bosch drive system and high-quality features
When it comes to the motor, Kalkhoff relies on proven performance: following the latest update, the Bosch Performance Line CX delivers up to 100 Newton metres of torque and, depending on the model variant, batteries with 600 or 800 watt hours are available.
The top-of-the-range Entice 7+ Excite ABS model is also equipped with Bosch eBike ABS. This system prevents the front wheel from locking up and ensures greater safety and stability when braking. In line with the high system weight, all models feature large 203-millimetre brake discs.

Its Shimano derailleur system is based on Linkglide technology, which was developed specifically for high-performance e-bikes. Wide 60-millimetre Schwalbe tyres combine grip and comfort, while aluminium mudguards, a MIK-compatible rack (with a load capacity of up to 25 kilograms) and integrated rear and brake lights ensure everyday practicality. A Supernova headlight illuminates the front – the top model even has a high beam function.
