Gravel goes smart: Lemmo introduces the limited edition Green Explorer Pro

With its new Green Explorer Pro, Lemmo is launching a full gravel version of the smart urban e-bike Lemmo One onto the market for the first time. The limited special edition not only stands out with its special green colour in Pantone 618C, but also with its targeted focus on sporty off-road adventures.

Two versions, one exclusive look

The limited Green Explorer series is available in two versions — a full gravel version and an urban version for the style-conscious who pay particular attention to the unusual colour scheme. Incidentally, these were already available for a short time in the past; anyone who missed out on buying the bike back then now has a second chance!

Green Explorer Pro with gravel equipment

The sportier version, the Green Explorer Pro, is a fully-fledged gravel bike with dropbar handlebars and a carbon seatpost. The latter offers slight flex for comfort on uneven surfaces and also saves weight. For the gears, Lemmo relies on Shimano’s proven GRX 812 gravel series with 11 gears. The hydraulic brake system also comes from the GRX line. Combined with the profiled Continental Terra Trail tyres, this model is ideally equipped for unpaved paths.

Only this Pro version also comes with the more powerful rear hub motor from the Lemmo Dynamic Edition Max with 56 Nm torque — we were recently able to see its performance for ourselves here in the test. This version is also only available as a diamond frame with a high top tube.

Urban version for design enthusiasts

If you are primarily interested in the limited special colour, you can opt for the second version: it is technically the same as the regular Lemmo One and comes with straight handlebars, a standard seat post and a choice of derailleur gears or a single-speed with a low-maintenance belt drive. This version is available with the familiar ST frame with a lowered top tube or with a diamond frame. We have already tested the ST version here.

Smart features included

Regardless of the variant, all models have the familiar smart functions of all Lemmo One bikes: a removable 531 Wh battery in the frame triangle, which also serves as a power bank, GPS localisation with alarm function and a mechanically lockable rear wheel are also on board as standard. Another particularly interesting feature is the option to completely decouple the motor. This means that the bike can also be ridden completely analogue for training purposes, especially as you can then leave the 3 kg battery at home.

Prices and availability

The Green Explorer Pro is available in sizes L and XL and costs 3,090 euros. The more urban version in the limited colour, on the other hand, starts at 2,489 euros. Delivery of the limited series can be expected in August. Further information can be found directly on Lemmo’s website.
