As part of Cyclingworld Düsseldorf, Moustache Bikes presented a special highlight: the Moustache Art Ride. The idea behind it was as simple as it was good – to explore Düsseldorf’s street art in a relaxed way by e-bike.

Here, once again, it became clear what advantages e-bikes offer in urban environments: even longer distances can be covered quickly, making it easy to connect different neighborhoods and spots. At the same time, there was the opportunity to try out the current lineup—from the Dimanche 28 Urban to the Mardi and the XRoad models, as well as several e-MTBs.

The tour was led by Klaus Rosskothen from the Pretty Portal Galerie, who guided the group through the city with a keen sense of direction, continually sharing insights into artists, techniques, and developments within the urban art scene. This turned the ride into much more than just a city tour—it became a vibrant encounter with art in public space. Along the route, large-scale murals lined the way, shaping Düsseldorf’s façades and giving the cityscape its own distinctive visual dynamic.

Thanks in part to perfect spring weather, the Urban Art Ride turned into an all-around successful event—relaxed riding, fascinating insights into the art scene, and, along the way, the chance to test Moustache’s latest bikes. It quickly became clear how enjoyable it is to explore a city by e-bike: flexible, effortless, and offering a completely new perspective on the surroundings.
