For the 2026 range, Kalkhoff is sharpening the profile of its e-bike series. The Level 5 series offers maximum performance, high load capacity, and technically advanced features, while the completely new Level 3 series focuses on comfort, everyday usability, and an overall more affordable entry point.
Level 5: Maximum performance and resilience

Let’s start with the Level 5 series, which was only introduced this year. All models will be equipped with the large 800 Wh battery and, depending on the variant, will be powered by the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with up to 100 Nm of torque or the new Bosch Performance Line PX motor with 90 Nm. Gears are shifted either via a classic derailleur or the continuously variable Enviolo hub gear, which is always combined with a clean and largely maintenance-free belt drive. A Suntour Mobie34 suspension fork with up to 120 millimeters of travel ensures a high level of riding comfort.

The maximum permitted weight of up to 170 kg for the Entice 5 and even 180 kg for the Image 5 and Endeavour 5 make the 5 series models particularly strong. In addition, the top-of-the-range Entice 5+ Excite ABS model is equipped with an anti-lock braking system. All bikes in the 5 series are available in three frame shapes: diamond, trapezoid, and low step-through (known as “Wave” at Kalkhoff).
Level 3: Comfortable and affordable entry level

The completely new Level 3 bikes are aimed at riders who are looking for a comfortable and versatile e-bike that also offers an attractive entry-level price. A new frame platform has been developed for 2026 that combines improved comfort geometry with balanced handling.

Depending on the model, the range of motors includes the entire variety of Bosch motors – with the Performance Line CX with 100 Nm, the new Bosch Performance Line PX with 90 Nm or the regular Performance Line motor with 75 Nm torque. In the 3-level range, the built-in batteries have a capacity of up to 600 Wh and, in addition to classic derailleur gears, there are of course also variants with hub gears to choose from – including the continuously variable Enviolo variant or the robust Nexus 5-speed hub from Shimano. In many models, the hub gears are also combined with the modern belt drive. All bikes are equipped with Suntour XCM32 suspension forks, which offer up to 100 millimetres of travel.
The maximum permitted weight in the Level 3 category is 150 kilograms, and there are two frame shapes to choose from: Diamond and Wave.

Both series feature everyday practical equipment such as lighting, mudguards and practical details such as an adjustable stem. Equally interesting are the numerous mounting points on the frame, which make it easy to retrofit front luggage racks or accessories. The standard MIK-HD rear luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 27 kg is also designed for use with a child seat.
Conclusion: Two series – two main focuses
With the current line-up, the Level 5 clearly positions itself as the choice for the highest demands and maximum load capacity, while the Level 3 offers a comfortable and more affordable entry point into the Kalkhoff portfolio. Prices for the 5 series models start at 3,999 euros for the Entice 5 Season, while the 3 series starts at just 2,999 euros for the Endeavour 3 Season.
