The bad news first: the chances are relatively bad to get one of the following bikes — they are unique pieces that are available at different retailers in France. And yet these works of art are definitely worth a look!
French brand Moustache Bikes have teamed up with the also French artist Lucas Beaufort to create twelve unique pieces designed under the theme “Petit Tour de France”. This little Tour de France refers to a 20-day bike trip of the artist from Normandy to the Côte d’Azur, which served as inspiration for the resulting Art-Bikes.
The base model for this is the low-entry Lundi e-bike, which has already been presented in detail here. Even as a basic model, this urban bike with its clean lines and iconic handlebars is a bit of a design icon, but in combination with the custom frame design, it becomes a real work of art at a price of 4,399 euros.
However, if you actually want to buy one of the bikes, you’d better hurry: there’s only one of each model, and the individual bikes are spread across various bike shops throughout France.
