On the occasion of the “Tour of California” cycling race, Rapha and Herman Miller are launching a limited series of cycling caps – all printed with classic patterns by Alexander Girard.

As head of the textile department of the Herman Miller Company, Alexander Girard designed numerous textiles and patterns – making him one of the defining figures of post-war American “Modernism” design. The designers from Rapha, the bicycle clothing manufacturer, now had access to Herman Miller’s archive and chose a total of nine patterns for the cycling caps for this year’s Tour of California.
